C.J. Stroud's rookie season has been one littered with accomplishments. On Saturday, the Texans' boy wonder secured the ultimate one, leading his franchise to the postseason with a 23-19 win over divisional rivals Indianapolis.Stroud was his usual effervescent self, firing off 20-of-26 pa ses for 264 yards and two touchdowns to shatter Colts hearts. He was far from alone, however. He received ample support in the form of wide receiver Nico Collins, who has embraced the challenge of being Houston's No. 1 receiver in Tank Dell's absence.Collins nabbed nine catches for 195 yards and a 75-yard score, two weeks after becoming just the fourth wideout to hit the 1,000-yard mark in franchise history. The Texans needed every bit of Stroud and Collins' production. Jonathan Taylor powered Indianapolis towards salvation, overcoming a heel injury to carve up Houston's defense to the tune of 188 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries.Taylor's production, coupled with some timely throws from Gardner Minshew, always kept Indianapolis within a stone's throw of clinching that much-vaunted golden ticket. But when the pre sure mounted, the Ozzie Smith Jersey Colts folded.
